Artist Bio Parastoo Mahmoudi is a Canadian-Iranian artist who lives in Toronto. She started practicing her primary drawing skills in 1996. She studied the human body's anatomy and subsequently portraits by drawing and sculpting life models and experimenting with different media and styles since 1996. Parastoo is a Life-Studies major and Drawing and Painting minor at OCAD University. She has exhibited internationally, primarily in Tehran, Dubai, and Toronto.
